SARs - Review Scenarios

Scenario:

A customer/suspect on whom a SAR is being prepared inquires about this process by requesting of casino personnel to be informed, citing his right to know under the law. What can the casino do in this case?

Answer:

You MUST decline the customer's request, citing the policy violation if you did comply with the request.  If the guest is persistent in claiming that you may be in trouble by not complying with his request, be assured that you are protected under Title 31 CFR 103.21 as the filer of a SAR.
