Penalties for Title 31 Violations

Both Civil and Criminal penalties may be imposed on the Casino and/or Casino employee(s) for willfully violating Title 31.

Fines range from $25,000 to $100,000 and criminal convictions can result in up to ten (10) years in prison.

Fines cannot be paid by the employer and are the sole responsibility of the violating employee.

Title 31 compliance is a critical requirement for the casino and for you as an employee. You may review this training module as often as needed to become thoroughly familiar with your requirements.
